NYTimes: A moment with Larry Fink (2011)

During my early days as a journalist, I had the honor to interview photographer Larry Fink for The New York Times! 2011—that was the year. He welcomed me to his home, where I stayed for two nights with his family. He played jazz, shared stories, and sang or Bebop'ed while playing the harmonica. He showed me so many images while he talked about his life. It was an incredible moment with Larry Fink, one I will cherish for the rest of my life. You will be missed. Thank you for giving me a chance and allowing me into your life. I was a kid and you trusted me.
