  • Delighted to be a keynote speaker at this year's Photo Plus Expo alongside Lynsey Addario, Duane Michael, and Allen Murabayashi. Join us tomorrow—Friday, October 26 at 12:45 pm at the Javits Convention Center—for a panel discussion on social media today. Although we all agree and see the benefits of social media—I look forward to discussing the con's media professionals need to think about when using these platforms to brand and network.

  • Description: No one doubts the power of social media for raising a photographer’s exposure or giving marginalized communities a platform to tell their stories, but social media also carries burdens and costs. Join in the lively debate, and vote for the debaters who mount the most persuasive arguments for and against the use of social media. Allen Murabayashi, Chairman & Co-Founder of PhotoShelter and Adriana Teresa Letorney, Founder, Visura.co, will be leading the teams going head to head in arguing the pros and cons of photographers’ use of social media.

  • Date: Friday, October 26, 2018: 12:45 PM - 1:45 PM
    • Javits Convention Center
